The Avaya Partner ACS was developed to meet the small business needs for more powerful systems that are easy to use and upgrade. In the past, the small business had to get a large system just to get the additional features that were provided with those larger systems. Not anymore. The power and flexibility of the Partner ACS are enhanced by the ease with which customers can upgrade the system software as more features become available using optional state-of-the-art PCMCIA PC cards that slide into the main processor.

Now T-1 capable, with the optional 700241813 T-1 module. The T-1 module provides for simultaneous out calling and station calling with monitoring of call and pull back to voicemail. Calls to a stations can now be immediately forwarded to an external number (Outside Remote Call Forwarding). New additional features include Call Timer Continuity Per Line; called number display stays on screen; Station Copy for all features and lines; Adjustable Hold Reminder, and MUCH MUCH more!

The Partner ACS System also comes equipped with two PCMCIA PC card slots that make it a snap for the customers to install future system software upgrades by simply slipping a new credit-card sized PC card into one of its 2 slots. The Partner ACS comes standard with a PC card that provides the only automatic back-up and restore capabilities for system programming available in the small system market. Others will have to follow. The PC card technology will allow customers to retain their original Partner ACS control module (processor) and install future software upgrades as a do-it-yourself job.

The Partner ACS is a member of Avaya's popular Partner family of small business communication systems. The Partner ACS system control module incorporates connections for 3 lines and 8 stations or 5 lines and 9 stations and can be combined with other Partner modules for increased capacity. Full expansion on the system is approx 15 lines and 41 extensions, or 12 lines and 33 extensions depending on voicemail used. The Partner ACS system also supports telephone network caller ID capabilities as well as many other features like optional support for a contact closure device which can be used to open electronic door locks remotely and perform on off functions.

The Basic PARTNER® Advanced Communications Release 8 System's processor module supports five incoming lines and nine extensions. The Partner ACS processor can be used with a 2 or 5 slot carrier when additional expansion modules are required. Expansion modules can be used to add lines and extensions to the system, or additional capabilities such as voice messaging and fractional T1 support. PARTNER ACS systems support a wide variety of features including Caller ID (name and number), Distinctive Ringing, Send All Calls, Speed Dialing, and five-party conferencing - each helping employees to be more efficient and productive. Cell Phone Connect via the T1 module enables customers to answer calls even if they are out of the office by simultaneously allowing calls to ring simultaneously at their desk phone and to their cell phone. Enhanced accessibility is also achieved through the Remote Call Forwarding feature, which enables a call to be immediately directed to any external number .A variety of cost control features provide for better telephone expense management and system performance monitoring. The PARTNER system is easy to install and administer. It is simple to add modules and telephones and software upgrades can be performed easily by inserting a PCMCIA card into the system.

With the Partner ACS System, you have two basic voicemail options. Either a small, inexpensive Partner Messaging release 3, or the full version Partner Messaging Release 7
